Wow, Happy Louie brings so many great memories for me and my husband. We met when Happy Louie played in Dover, NJ in 1970 and have been together ever since. Married in 1972 and 40+ years later still dancing to Happy Louie polkas. God bless you and Julcia and your wonderful music will live forever.

I came across your Tribute of this year on you tube and it brought back memories of long ago. I last saw you in 1968 at the Polanka Ballroom in Dover NJ.The place was jammed but I did manage to meet my future wife at the dance and for 42 years we listened to your music on Tapes & CD's Louie & Julcia you have been the heart & soul of Polka Music ever since the days of Wojnarowki.Twins,Solek,Bernie Witkowski, Ray henry and all the other old bands. I remember them all from dances in Wilkes Barre and the Scranton area. God Bless you both.

Hello Happy Louie, you might remember my mom Irene Santaniello. She always loved to polka with your band. You are the BEST! I remember when you played at my sister's wedding years ago. It was the best wedding music; we all had a great time. I now have all of your albums that my mother left, when she passed away. HA...now I need to get CD's because I no longer can find the needles for my turntable...maybe I'll just buy a new one. Louie,

I played trumpet with a successful Polish Polka band called the Nordeast 5 in the Minneapolis area for 30 years. My parents did not teach us children Polish although they spoke it fluently (bummer). I visited Poland 2 years ago and sensed the cultural pride that emanated from a beautiful people that appreciate life to it's fullest. I just learned of you and your band this year after viewing u-tube videos. Words cannot express my admiration for your performance in representing everything that is good about Polish people. You play with such passion - you are the greatest! I only wish I could have met you and seen your band in person. When I get down during the day I think about how "happy" you are and it lifts my spirits. God bless you, Julcia and your family.

I grew up listening to Polish Music every Sunday morning after coming home from Church Mass. Love your sound - I prefer it over that Sturr band from my hometown in N.Y.
