More than any other polka band in history-the name Happy Louie inspired an ever building anticipation leading to the live appearance itself! Louie was Elvis, Sinatra & the Beatles - all rolled into one! From the 1st note of North Shore to the last chord of Do Branoc, we were assured a great time-each and every time.We sang, danced, clapped, stomped & yelled for more & more! And Louie, Julcia & the Boys never disappointed! It was the Golden Age of Polkas - with Louie, Wally, Lush & Eddie B in their heyday!But Louie was the true KING of POLKAS! His music, vocals, audience participation & showmanship, along with hard driving polkas and a band of true pro's combined with the devotion , backing and stage and vocal abilities of his lovely Julcia!...Louie always said what memories he would have of those glorious days - AND what memories he has given to his legions of polka fns everywhere!!! I grew up going to Happy Louie and Julcia dances with my folks (tom and marie) and now I look back on those times and listen to these recordings with such fondness. I have all of the cds now. Happy Louie makes me smile and gets me moving. I am so happy to be able to share the music with my kids!
